Are your incenses natural?
Yes. All HuaYuan blends are made from natural plant materials - no synthetic fragrances, no chemical additives. Each formula follows the classical principle of jun chen zuo shi, passed down from the Qing imperial court.
What ingredients are used?
Our blends draw on natural materials such as agarwood, sandalwood, frankincense, borneol, and osmanthus. The full ingredient profile for each blend is listed on its product page.
How many sticks are in a box, and how long does each burn?
Each box contains 20 sticks, and each stick burns for approximately 45 minutes.
What is the difference between the four collections?
Each collection is composed for a different state of mind:
- Calm - for the exhale at the end of the day.
- Focus - for deep work, study, and the first hour of the morning.
- Grounding - for returning to yourself after travel, overwhelm, or too much screen time.
- Ritual - for the moments you choose to mark: dawn, dusk, a threshold, a return.
How to Use & Safety
How do I burn incense?
Place the incense on a heat-safe holder on a flat, stable surface. Light the tip, let the flame catch, then gently blow it out so the stick smolders. Keep the room ventilated and keep the burning stick away from curtains, paper, and anything flammable.
Do I need a special holder?
Any heat-safe holder works. We recommend a ceramic or brass holder with a long tray to catch the ash.
Is incense safe to burn indoors?
Burning any incense produces smoke, so always use it in a well-ventilated room. Never leave burning incense unattended, keep it out of reach of children and pets, and never burn it while sleeping.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the European Union.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are packed and shipped within 1-3 business days. Delivery typically takes 7-15 business days depending on your location.
Do you provide tracking?
Yes. A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order ships.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
Import duties and taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unopened, unused items in their original packaging. To start a return, contact us with your order number.
My incense arrived damaged. What should I do?
We're sorry! Please send us a photo of the damaged item within 48 hours of delivery, along with your order number, and we will replace it or issue a full refund.
